[UX/UI] Riot Tournament App (8 weeks)

A mobile app specifically created for Riot Tournaments / Premier, for all tournament related needs.

Current Timeline:

  • Week 1
    • Research (looking at another apps/websites and finding inspo from them)
      • other player matching apps (desktop/mobile)
      • Player profiles
      • Tournament structures (bracket format, weeklies, monthlies) 
    • Outcome of week 1:
      • Gather research on all the above, and write out bulleted list of what you think would be good to include in your own app
  • Week 2
    • Brainstorming ideas for the app
      • Flows
      • Screens
      • Features
      • Brainstorm low fidelity (sketches) of flows and screens
    • Outcome of Week 2:
      • Low fidelity screens of flows / features / screens
      • Narrow in on 2 primary flows 
  • Week 3
    • Turning low fidelity screens / flows into high fidelity designs in Figma
  • Week 4
    • Turning low fidelity screens / flows into high fidelity designs in Figma
    • Prototype at least 1 primary flow
  • Week 5
    • User testing
      • Showcase to friends/family/pro players/ other people to use and get feedback on 
      • Showcase single screens  / ideas to people
      • gather feedback
  • Week 6
    • Hi fidelity designs
  • Week 7
    • Implement feedback
    • Iterate
  • Week 8
    • Wrap up
    • Mockups / prototype cleanup
